I bought this for my wife who has an aching back all the time (mostly in the shoulder blade area). This chair has been a life saver. It is helping relieve the deep muscle pain she has felt for years.

I read the other reviews before I bought this. I recommend this over the model before (not many features) and the model after (too many features, not important features).

The chair gives a solid massage, it is rigorous though. I wouldn’t recommend for older people or people with an injury. It is nice to use after a long day and it automatically turns off after the heat is on for about 10 minutes.

It is slim enough to tuck in a corner unobtrusively.

Pretty light too so you don’t have to bust your back lol

It is a good alternative to those who like to visit Brookstone/Sharper Image to sit in the massage chairs for “testing” because they cost like some ridiculous amount.

Loved it — when it worked

I received this for Christmas and literally the second time I used it, it began making loud grinding noises. I was using it properly – ie not laying on it or putting excessive pressure on it, so it should be more robust than that! I tried exchanging it, but the department store it was purchased from only carried it as a seasonal (Christmas) item and didn’t have any more left. Because I liked the massaging action so much, I continued using it until it finally broke completely. I then returned for a refund.

The shiatsu massage was perfect for me. I get knots in my muscles just below my shoulder blades and this hit there wonderfully. The spot massage option was ideal at keeping the massage heads there to work out the kinks. The added heat was a bonus. I like this massaging cushion so much that I’m willing to try purchasing another one. I just bought a replacement on Amazon. Hopefully this one will last a little longer.

My husband has a bad back & has completely worn out a similar model with fewer features. He loves this one. It really soothes and relaxes his back.

Fairly good overall. The heat is almost immediate. I like the shishu better than the rolling option. The top or lower option is also nice as well is the spot massage. So far, it is dependable and working well.
